Strongpoint Safety & Risk Mitigation

What We Offer

Safety Audits

A construction site scene with a small skid-steer loader depositing soil into a dump truck, surrounded by trees and a tall pole during daytime. Safety is paramount in construction industry, and often required to close the deal.
A white safety helmet hanging from a chain in a factory or industrial setting. Appropriate PPE for manufacturing and production eliminates risk, injury, lawsuit, etc.
Construction worker in a yellow safety vest fastening metal beams together with a wrench on a construction site. Job-site operations require refined safety programs.
  • We inspect your job-site or shop operations to identify risk exposure and compliance issues.

This includes but is not limited to:

    • Fire extinguisher types / certifications

    • Exits, obstacles, signage

    • Rigging, Extension Cords, Machine Guards

    • Equipment lights, horns, restraints

    • Hazardous Materials, SDS sheets, Spill Kits

    • Scaffolding / Fall Protection

  • We evaluate the exposure to the business or job-site if an incident occurs. Has the operation taken reasonable precautions to prevent injury?

    • Training records

    • CPR / AED requirements

    • Tool-box talks

    • Incident reports / Documentation

    • Enforcement & Corrective measures

    • PPE requirements

    • Equipment Service Records

  • Is your scaffolding and fall protection serviceable?

Does a lift have a hydraulic leak, or visible wear and bulging hydraulic lines?

    Appropriate Training and Authorized Use?

    Lockout / Tagout Procedures

Your company is busy, it is profitable, but is it protected? You likely grew this business with used equipment, worn out gloves, and determination. Now you have employees and a responsibility to protect them and yourself.

You hope your staff has the same grit and determination to complete the task, and can stay focused. Is it reasonable to expect your team to identify every risk, and then correct or mitigate that before completing their task?

Program Development & Training

Our team is certified through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) and can develop the Safety Program you need to minimize legal, financial, and physical risk. A lot of safety requirements seem like a hoop to jump through, and staff don’t always take them seriously. It isn’t an obstacle, it is a strong defensive strategy.

Avoid lost hours, worker’s compensation claims, litigation. More importantly, avoid the opportunity cost of losing a job because your operation doesn’t mitigate risk.

  • Identify and develop a comprehensive safety program to mitigate regulatory and physical risk.

    • Program Manager Training: Standardize safety leadership competencies for all project and operational leads.

    • Audit & Documentation SOPs: Establish a rigorous cadence for site inspections, equipment logs, and safety meeting minutes.

    • Internal Training Requirements: Define mandatory safety onboarding and recurring certifications (e.g., Fall Protection, Lockout/Tagout).

    • Incident Response Plan: Formalize the "Golden Hour" protocol for reporting, medical triage, and root-cause analysis.

  • Evaluate whether the business is subject to DEQ, EPA, or State specific regulation.

    • Hazardous Materials: Protocols for the procurement, storage, and disposal of solvents, adhesives, and treated materials.

    • Emissions & Air Quality: Mitigation of airborne particulates (dust collection) and VOC monitoring for finishing and spraying operations.

    • Waste Stream Management: Documentation of legal disposal for industrial waste and recycling compliance.

    • Stormwater/Runoff: Site-specific containment strategies to prevent chemical or sediment discharge.

  • Review any licensing and certifications required or recommended to mitigate regulatory and high-liability risks.

    • Environmental & Hazard Compliance: SDS Documentation, Lead-Based Paint, Asbestos, and hazardous waste handling.

    • Life Safety: OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) operation, and fire suppression system maintenance.

    • Technical & Trade Proficiencies: AWS certification, Rigger Training, Overhead Crane Training, Etc.

    • Equipment & Asset Operation: Training and documentation for overhead cranes, forklifts, aerial lifts, and specialized manufacturing or facility machinery.

    • Access & Heights: Certified training for scaffolding assembly, fall protection systems, and confined space entry.

    • Preventative Maintenance (PM) Logs: Audit of service records for high-value / high-risk machinery (Heavy Equipment, CNCs, Vehicles) to prevent catastrophic failure or injury.

Site Safety Management

Our BCSP certified team can deploy a safety program manager and certified safety associates as required. We organize the team based on the scope of work, duration, and complexity.

We ensure you have coverage based on your requirements. You can retain our service for periodic audits, high-risk phases of work, or full coverage. We contract our services to project owners, and contractors.

Our team knows we are not there to obstruct progress; we are there to prevent catastrophe. All we ask for is a pre-defined and clear scope of work. Does our team retain “stop-work” authority, dictate PPE requirements, and review rigging plans, and daily risk mitigation? Or are we an advisory role, providing document management and best-practice recommendations.

    • Comprehensive Safety Plan

    • Task Specific Safety Plans

    • Traffic, Access, Material Staging Plans

    • Incident Response Plans

    • Communication & Reporting Requirements

    • Corrective Actions

    • Risk and Incident Logs

  • Our BCSP certified manager will lead site safety and will develop the systems and procedures to mitigate resource risks.

They will then oversee compliance, and review evolving external risks, and contractor developed safety plans and safety equipment as required.

This enables the Project Manager, Superintendent, and Contractors to focus on their responsibilities.

    • Weather Adjustments (Slip & Fall)

    • Walkthrough & Inspections

    • Rigging Plan Reviews

    • Sub-contract Certification Audits
