Frequently Asked Questions - Business Safety Programs
-
Requesting a preventative inspection is a show of good-faith and OSHA representatives will provide you their findings - you should do this.
However, there are two reasons this should be the last thing you do:
You are on their radar, and they will likely want to see you corrected issues promptly, based on their findings.
They do not audit your safety program and risk exposure as a business risk. They audit your compliance to regulatory requirements as a physical risk to personnel only. I.E. Do you have equipment guards, exit signs, fire extinguishers, PPE. Strongpoint looks at these items, as well as will an investigation or lawsuit show negligence and unsafe work conditions.

Our BCSP certified staff will develop and implement a safety program for you, to include administering online OSHA training.
Additionally, if recommended or required, we can facilitate specialized industry specific training.
-
The short answer is no, we do not. This typically is not a cost-effective solution.
If you require a large group to be certified for compliance and it becomes cost-effective, we can arrange training on-site to expedite the process.

Mobile & Modular
We deploy certified personnel to your site and/or shop location to conduct an assessment, take photographs, and gather information.
Phase I: Intelligence & Assessment (On-Site Audit) The first phase is always "boots on the ground." We conduct a thorough on-site evaluation of your current projects, shop flow, current training and certifications, and records. Our goal is to determine risk exposure in real-time, as well as the risk exposure if an incident occurs. Do you have appropriate records and policies to show proper precautions were taken?
Phases II: Program Development (Remote) Once the initial assessment is complete, we pivot to a remote model to develop a safety program. We will have an honest discussion with owners to determine the acceptable level of risk. The truth is that safety CAN impact immediate efficiency. We try to minimize this, understanding that accidents drastically impact efficiency.
Our safety program is tailored to your requirements, while ensuring regulatory compliance. It will include at a minimum:
Controlled Access Areas
Responsible Individuals
Training & Certifications
Inspection Requirements
Fire & Life Safety
Reporting & Document Requirements
Phase III: Program Initiation (Hybrid) We facilitate the training and compliance with the newly established Safety Program. We then conduct site inspections to ensure compliance.

We do not bill by the hour. We bill by the objective. The scope of work is determined and quoted in advance.
Phase I - The Initial Safety Audit is billed in advance in order to reserve the service and cover travel expenses of our team.
Phase II - The program development, is quoted after Phase I and billed upon completion, prior to receipt of the program documentation.
Phase III - Program Initiation is broken into trip fees for follow-up audits and inspections. We do not bill for facilitating online training, as it is minimal effort on our part. If you require bulk in-person training we will provide a quote in advance.
